Thanks, great update.
The Rennbay guy made mention recently of the boots in the shared kit being updated a while back. That's good, because it means they now work for the 928 as advertised. The boots were the problem a few years ago. Boots are not a periperal, but instead are a critical functional part of the ball joint. Without them, the joints grind themselves up again.
Good data point, sounds like it has been done (for quite a while apparently).
When parts that show-up in the mailbox actually fit, it is all good.

The problems with the replacement boots on our early ball joint rebuild kits (2008-09) is quite old, and was resolved several years ago already.
New rubber boots accompany our ball joint rebuild kits and they fit very well.
Here are a couple photos of the kit we have been shipping since 2011. I have had nothing but good comments about these rubber boots with spring-clamps top and bottom. Customers like them.
