Ant. disable ... advise request
I am so lazy that I should be ashamed... almost. On the other hand, I take pride in the fact that one can accomplish so much with so little effort - at least my effort -.
SORT OF AN EXCUSE:
Until I sort out the electrical drain on the battery. Busy, busy! Doing the exhaust thing and installing the new CD. I, also,
am going thru the solenoids, relays, and electrical/vac. connections while I am in the console. But there is no chance of me, intentionally, finding the Batt. drain this week end due to time constraints.
SO,
I know for a fact my drain is not anywhere in the radio/ant power source circuit.
But, to reduce drain -everytime I turn the key on > ant. cycles up, key off > ant. cycles down. So to prevent anymore drain than necessary on the weakened Batt. - I trickle charge 10 hours every other day - I want to disable the ant. in the up position.
Will unplugging the motor wires while the ant. is in the up position suffice?
