Hey Max, I want to try out the Devek level 2's because they are an equal length design, where as the MSDS are not. Several folks whom I have spoken with who have the Devek claim that the seat-o-the-pants feel after the swap was of a pretty good increase in power. I felt a modest increase in power with the MSDS. Although I have not dyno'd the car since the swap to the MSDS, others claim only around 10 HP increase, while others claim 20 HP with the Devek. I started to get the Devek originally, but was being cheap and opted for the less expensive MSDS.

I "believe" that the p/n for the Spintech's was 3660. They were the Sportsman series if I remember correctly, with 2.5" inlet an outlet on the same side. This allowed me to install them in the intermediate muffler position and still ahve good ground clearance. They actually fit rather nicely.

The Dr. Gas X pipe lowered the db's on the exhaust while changing the tone quite a bit as compared to an H style crossover. Kind of a "smoother" sound. Hard to describe really. I was running the stock system with an RMB and cat bypass, and this system is quieter and smoother sounding, although substantially louder than stock. I've gotten lots of compliments on the sound at several 928 gatherings and out driving around town. One guy stopped me at a redlight, and wanted to know how in the world I got a Porsche to sound that sweet. (he was a BMW guy and didn't know about Porsche V-8 power) The system isn't very intrusive at cruise speeds, and sound like a stock system with RMB at idle. It's when you get above 4K rpms when it really starts to wail. Scares off most of the competition. lol.

Any rate, good luck with your system, and please let us know how it turns out.
