Steve, you might want to consider adjusting the retracted position of your headlights to eliminate that gap between the fender cutout and the headlight. Made a big improvement in the appearance on mine - and it's real easy to do. Just a suggestion.

Hi Sharks,

Here is the heart of my road rocket. I went with the original equipment hood liner. I like to keep things as original as economically practical. I have only used non OEM hoses, clamps, and air conditioning compressor.:

I'm dropping my 8" headlights in later this week. I'm looking at Steve's lights. Should they be raised?

I think you wrote in an earlier post that they (the headlights) should just touch a straight edge ruler. Which way (and where) should the ruler sit over the opening?

Do you have a picture of your's (headlights that is)?

Randy V, I was looking for that thread today and could not find it. It must have been under my nose.

Fortunatley, I printed that thread a week or two ago (and then forgot about it). Anyway, it answers all my questions. Thanks again.

Adding to the group, here is my 79 shark with its claim to fame in the Midwest. Not a bad haul for participating in nothing but "Hot Rod" car shows. Didn't get any notices of any PCA events, but this year is different...
