Post My new 86.5

Picked it up this morning...

125K miles, GrandPrix white/Burgundy, ALL leather except pod, auto w/LSD

It's so entirely awesome. I understand now what it was like to drive a new one. Awesome.

I got a pic I saved from when it was for sale in (I think) Gig Harbor, The first time I saw it I was really tempted to buy it just because of the mud flaps...

First up is switching the cool stuff from the ol' hoopty 86.5 (8" H4's, X-pipe, etc.), and then sell the hoopty. The new 86.5 will need a PKsn'r, and cam sync, etc., but overall, it's in top shape, all I had to do so far is change the hatch struts!

The flexplate moved <2mm. Every factory hose, cover, liner, etc that I could think of is still on the car.

I don't think the flaps are fact'ry. I couldn't find a part number, and they look as if they may have been trimmed to fit. They do kinda match the front air dam, and may keep the rocks off the nice paint, so I may actually keep them.

Nice. For some reason I always want older white sharks to have NASA in large black letters on the side.

Those rear tail lights look brand new. Great score!

Sa-weeeeeet Ken! White, my favorite 928 color.

So, are you only allowed to buy white 928's or what?

Talking

P/S. I mentioned that I have a Blaupunkt CD stereo to give away. Unfortunately, I can't find it and I think that I may have left it at the installers when I changed to my new deck during the summer.

I do have an old Blaupunkt 8-track from old old 944 collection if you are interested!
