Richard Hillie gave me a 205 mph ride in his car and asked me to take into account that the experience is much better when all the power is there. I guess that even if you have a lot of what you enjoy there is always a craving for more. Speed in this case.

I must strongly disagree with our estemed Silver State officials. This is not the first time that the radar operator shot us at to great of an angle. This is my speed through the traps and I'm sticking to that.

If the radar was under-reading by a few mph, then I got very lucky

NICE....204 vs 208mph.... a 2% differential is considered "acceptable" for cops who attend radar school....& you are right, the greater the angle of the radar vs the road (of course dead on 90' is perfect but impossible)...it does get slower....of course if we give a "slower" ticket that is okay...vs a faster one!

BTW did I mention I have a handheld radar unit??????????????????????????????

Brian,

Hopefully you don't keep it resting on your lap aimed at your crotch while your
sitting at the side of the road waiting for passing motorists. I hear it can cause
testicular cancer....

On another note, I was meaning to ask you if you knew about any long, straight,
uphill, deserted roads that would be good for tuning and testing a car at 200
mph, if for some reason a person was inclined to find the need?
