Once I get the rest of it roughed out I'll put some dimensions on the pictures for you.

I'm waiting for the mufflers right now. This will end with one pipe out each side of the car.

OH...sorry, I re-read your post and realize I thought you said I sold the headers I bought from you. So yes you are correct, those are your headers on the neverbeenonthetrack track car.

That's what I had so far, a Y-pipe directly into a delta 50 muffler (Where cats would be) and dual 2.5" pipes off the muffler at a 45* exiting just in front of the rear tires. Really wakes folks up sitting next to you when you blip the go peddle. Nothing like a honda with a fart can revving it's eninge next to you. One hit and they're rolling up the windows and looking away.

With headers and an "X" looks like I'll have to mount the dual mufflers further back and exit on each side behind the tires.

I have a fuel cell mounted in the center of the rear section so I have room on both sides of the car to run an exhaust pipe ( no stock gas tank in the way). I'm going to cut the body on the passenger side to match the factory cut-out of the driver's side. This car is still street registered so I want to have some chance of getting an inspection sticker.

Just got the dang 32V manifolds and 86.5 mids installed too....They may actually suffice in lieu of trying to put the muffler in place of the 32V cats, I'm thinking I'm investing too much thought and effort (the latter on the part of several people) into projects that may not provide a great deal of real world gain on my street driven car.

At any rate, just picture using an Ott X in lieu of the headers, and then installing a dual-in/dual-out stainless muffler that has an internal 'X' approximately where the cats fit. Only thing that's a little innovative...and perhaps infeasible, is using the little job in the stock midpipe, where it comes up to meet the pipe. By installing a V-band clamp to the rear of the jog, I thought that the pipes could be rotated to match up to the pipes of either the oem cats or the muffledx set up, since the distance between the two dischargign pipes/flanges is bound to be a little different. In theory, would make for a relatively easy swap from muffledx back to 32V cats.

I'm sure the boilerplate x in the muffler isn't as efficient as the custom designed units...but also doubt that the difference would be discernable on the street. But the cat/no cat difference may be.

Any update on that brown Euro you had & sold? Is it racing yet, in progress, or just disapeared? Just curious

Test fitted over the weekend and final welding this morning. Hoping to install tonight. Here it is...MSDS headers to 3" duals all the way back.

What mufflers did you go with? That is beautiful! Can you make another and ship it to me? My MSDS headers wouldn;t be that far off yours..would they?

My exhaust job is now complete. It really sounds great.

Aprox. parts cost was 450.00
Weight of system from the headers back is 46 pounds
Mufflers are split flow by dynatech. (got this tip from Carl Fausett, thanks Carl!)

OT: Are you related to the Tassinari's that make the aftermarket two stroke reed valves?

No relation to the folks at Moto Tassinari, makers of v-force reed valves. I have a KTM 2-stroke and emailed them to say hello, they sent me a really nice shirt for no other reasion than we share the same name.
