Center console vinyl warp-itus
Hi all,
Anybody had any success re-gluing the vinyl back down onto the center console?
I've had no luck with either contact cement or epoxy. Both times I cleaned the surfaces as best I could and used boards and clamps to hold everything while the glue set, but afterwards within a day or two it starting separating again. The vinyl has a very stubborn, outward curl that just doesn't want to cooperate!

I had the same problem. I used JB Weld (black & red tubes) about a year ago and it worked great. Use about 4 large clamps going across the whole console and leave for at least 24hours. Should solve it.

I used contact adhesive and that was a year ago, still looks fine. I clamped it well and made sure the glue was good and tacky before putting the surfaces together
