Selling my low mile 90 GT, life changes, blah, blah, blah
This causes pain to write, but I am selling my 1990 GT. After 6 years of 928 ownership I must move on & as with other rare cars I have owned, I will regret this in the future.
Here are the gory details:
1990 GT, Guards Red/Lt Grey Sport seats, ~73K miles
Exterior nice, but not perfect & interior very nice except for rear quarters
GTS Clutch, Ott X, Short Shifter, Boxster 17" wheels
Very nice sounding stereo with sub, speakers, amps, Alpine deck with Ipod controls- all almost invisible
Runs excellent, well maintained by myself
Fairly recent plugs, wires, rotors, caps, filters
Complete Intake overhaul with all new parts (tracked down an idle & slight pinging issue)
New motor mounts about 20K miles ago
Timing belt & water pump at about 38K miles
Previous owner had LH replaced
I know I'm missing many more details, but I wanted to post & see if there is any interest at $19,500. If so, email me & I'll give all the info I have.
It's been a great help having this list.

my mistake? I though Brian asked to add a price before Randy sees it. Gosh, its time to go to bed and get some rest.
Hmmm, I edited this response and it does not give the notice that it has been edited. That is fun.

Yeah, the edit notation seems to be inconsistent..
Anyway, $19.5K for a nice 73K mile GT with sport seats sounds awfully good to me.

Three Wheelin'
Looks like a good deal to me, too, despite the Boxster twist being my most despised wheel choice of all-time for the 928.
If my planets were aligned properly, I'd buy it. Instead, one of my moons has spun out of orbit and is heading for the Sun, which sounds not-so-bad except for the fact that it will burn up long before it gets there.
Okay, sorry...too much '00 Carretta Barbaresco "Cascina Bordino."

Probably due for a t-belt job.
But if I were looking again for a GT I'd consider this one. I have the light Gray interior now also and like it. Would love to have those sport seats.
And I happen to like the 17" Boxster twists on my GT.
