CLEAR LIGHTS
#32
I have always been interested in the clear lenses, as long as they didn't look ricey.
Its just done too much in SOCAL.
Also, the Jacq site has some very nice front bumpers for regular fenders, as most of the widebody stuff looks a bit too OTT. This is the bumper I really like:http://jacquemond.com/aero3.jpg
The downside is that I do not like the low down drving lights. I care not for making sure the ants and rodents have light to see.
The compromise is this bumper:
<a href="http://www.jacquemond.com/american/928fs4.jpg" target="_blank">http://www.jacquemond.com/american/928fs4.jpg</a>
Normal Shape, but it updates the horzontal lines of the current bumper-intake. It may even improve cooling a bit. AND it may be lighter. But for 1200 dollars, it does not seem like alot.

I also like this tastefull:
<a href="http://jacquemond.com/928eb5.jpg" target="_blank">http://jacquemond.com/928eb5.jpg</a>
and
<a href="http://jacquemond.com/928e1.jpg" target="_blank">http://jacquemond.com/928e1.jpg</a>
And those don't look like the wide fronts. The rears ARE wide, but I think thats a GTS.
I am undecided on the wing though:
<a href="http://jacquemond.com/n10.jpg" target="_blank">http://jacquemond.com/n10.jpg</a>
I like the front fenders the way that are. It looks too slan-nosed when you flare them. The rear, however, could do with some widening, as long as its tastefull.
IMHO.
1300 for the bumper, and another 1300 for the rear fenders.
But then I would have to decide if I want to go silver from the current black....

hard to call it rice when it's factory. i had clear turn lenses on my 78 Rabbit LONG before the whole "rice" thing started. most of their stuff is after-market.
if it's a factory part in europe, it's rice free...

i'll bet they won't get it for you. if it's not OE for US cars, most dealers will say they can't get it. which is mostly true, as the euro parts have different part numbers that the US parts, so it's not in their database. so they have no way to order it...
ever go thru the PET cd and click on an item number just to have it tell you "part number not available"? most of the time it's a euro part and US dealers have no need to know the number.
you'll have to import them somehow. find someone in europe to buy them and send them to you.

Still nothing?
Nobody has located a pair of clear/red rear lenses?
My local Porsche dealer tells me there is no such a part. Im going to try at different dealers and parts resellers next week.
By the way, pictures are gone again and refreshing does not work.. Could somebody post it so I can print and bring with me?

Hey Guys and gals.
The new E-Class mercedes has a rerally cool rear setup where there is simply WHITE and RED.
BUT....The red also is infront of a very bright YELLOW marker that looks fully yellow when the signal is on.
I Can't find a pic, but I think it looks good, and infact better than this clear idea.

Well,
Im having a TOTAL ABSENCE OF LUCK searching for this tail lights.
Official Porsche dealers dont even know what Im talking about (even after showing them the picture). Aftermarket and parts suppliers: more or less the same.
Has somebody contacted the owner of this car yet?
