Some kind of manual for an Auto
I finally got a real V8 Porsche, now I just need to work on it, I found out that Haynes do not do a workshop manual, the only thing I can find are original W/shop ones for mucho dinero, there must be someone with a cheaper alternitive, I need things like wiring diagrams and info on the A/C. It needs to cover a 79 model Auto. Also does anyone know if there is a tow bar available for one?

Only cheap way is to get the microfiche version of the Factory Shop Manual for about $35 plus shipping.
Then you can either try to find a cheap viewer on eBay, or just run down to your local library and print off what you need, or look at it and make notes and sketches.
I really don't know whether Jeannie has these in stock now or not - you can call her at (828) 766-9280 and see, or check with the other vendors.

There are manuals on cd on E Bay and Yahoo auctions. Also the original paper/binder manuals from time to time. They were on back order nation wide for quite awhile. Thanks to Wally for letting us know when they came in, I got a set. If you can beg, borrow or ? the cash, buy a set. You will NEED them, and they don't depreciate as fast as a new car. As far as towing goes, I would recommend a flat trailer for your automatic.

Eh! no I need to tow my race car with the 928 not the other way round, therefore I need a towbar on the 928, I'll check the Library but I don't hold out much hope that they have a microfiche in the UK? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
