Did you do your own work?

That workmanship looks stunning and the color combo is really really nice.

This looks great Justin. My dash and carpet color is totally brown. It makes for a drab interior. I like the brown dash - cashmere carpet combo.

Where did you get the cashmere carpet pieces?

The seats I had done, the carpet and everything else I did myself.
Thanks

Justin,

Again, people keep asking, where did you get the carpet from? Paul, Gaah, Rob Bud, Someone else??????

Who supplied the carpet?

Isn't Cashmere the shade of tan from the S4 & above cars & Champagne the shade of tan for the pre S4cars? The Cashmere being more of a neutral tan color and the Champagne more of a goldish tan color.

Justin,

Excellent work on doing the seats yourself. Kudos to you!

apparently Champagne was used on S4's up until 89. In 90 through 95- they used cashmere. This is what Lowmiler told me once when i asked what I had.

Porsche lists an interior color code, but I still have not been able to decode it. The color codes seemed to change every couple of years so black can have 4-5 different codes possibly. I could never figure out what color my interior is called.

I used to collect 944s. The black dash-cashmere carpet was a popular combo on the 968 (the last generation of 944 that was released in 1991/92). I have not heard of the champagne interior color on 968s.

The flash washes out the color but the carpet on the drivers door is more accurate.

Joe,

Thanks for your comment. There is a difference as you point out. And your carpet too is cashmere? The drivers side does look more like mine.

You know, now I'm not sure if it's cashmere. I'll dig up the invoice later tonight and double check. I had it done 5 years ago and went with the original slivernit. Originally the interior was all linen and when I went to order the new carpet, I just went by the swatch - didn't even look at the name. But the one in Justin's photo looks very similar to mine (when you see it in person) .

Joe,

Thanks for the pic, that does look cool. I'm hoping it is the cashmere that I just got, because the swatch I got seems very orange next to the faded tan that's in there. I'm sure with the whole thing done up it will look ok. Especially if that's the color in yours.

Justin, sorry for the hijack, yours looks really really nice.
