Possible Sources of KickDown Switch Short?
When tranny kiks down or when I activate the KD bypass switch, #10 fuse blows.
Where should I look for a short?
Connector in spare tire well? At the transmission?
Anywhere else?
Thanks

What fuse value do you have? 5A? This fuse also feeds instruments etc & rear wiper switch... Have you changed anything? brigher bulbs in pod? etc etc?
Next - remove the K-D relay and see if it still blows the fuse w/ kickdown switch - this will test the wiring to the relay. If no - w/ KD relay still removed - replace fuse 10 with a multimeter on current range (10A range). What current do you read - this is everything else taking current from that fuse...
After the relay it should go only to the transmission solenoid... try unplugging the T51 transmission connector (on transmission) - re-insert KD relay & fuse and see if it still blows with kickdown switch - this tests the relay and wiring up to the transmission.
If its none of these it may be the solenoid in the transmission...
