Fuchs on a 928
I've always liked the classic look (pre 1990) Fuchs on the 911, has anyone tried this on a 928 and are/were there any years that had the correct offset in a 16 inch wheel. If not and someone has tried this what size wheel spacers did you use.

Aww that's not gonna look right. The classic look for 911's are the Fuch's. If you want to go classic on your 928 stay with the phone dial rims or the slotted rims of the 87, 88's.
Those Fuch's are gonna look like tight jeans on a fat woman.

All Fuchs are early offset. All 928's are late offset. They would bolt on but your would need spacers.
I perfer the classic BBS RS 3-piece mesh wheel myself. The classic '80s wheel for the classic '80s car.

PopC,
I can't help you with the offset but I agree with Kaz. They look good on 'some' of the 911 series as part of a total package. On the sHARKs it would look sort of like a not to handy 9 year old was trying to glue something foreign onto the car and something went wrong!
John K. that is one gross flick!! Reminds me of several of the -immaculate, pristine, showroom condition, Porsche maintained, garage kept, original and rare condition. Did I mention FLAWLESS? - Beaut's I was assaulted with while searching for my first.
Ahhhh, the crinkled fender, and bent rims.
The lovely clump of dirt on the tire wear it had rested -Flat- until someone noticed the dry rot........ Is that Barbra Striesand singing "Memories" in the background.
SSSayyyyyyy, are those custom handpainted Fuchs or are they replicas? Red in the front Black in the rear or a different color for each corner?
PopC, Even if they weren't butched they draw the eye to the wheel instead of complimenting the whole package. That's my opinion but different strokes...
