how bad can tie rods get?
I'm getting my tie rods replaced--I'm not comfortable doing this on my own--and am wondering what other things I should ask my mechanic do do while he's in there. At 120k miles, I can imagine they aren't the only things bad connected to that system. Also, should I notice anything different about how the car feels when I get it back?
