Its in Manteca just off hwy 120/99 It cost $100 or $120...I can't remember and he did it in one day.....just dropped the car off and picked it up later!!

The seats were quite a bit more $$$....closer to $600.....

My favorite is the raised center console Paul made....its so much more comfortable.....the old one was too hard and too low.....

Quick Question for Iceman:

Who did your cassette box? How did you remove all of the cassette holders?

Looks fantastic!!!

So, if that is the case, I'm the culprit

Yup Paul Champagne made it....the 1st one he did!! The tape holders just pop out...just flex them a bit and they come out of the grooves.....I think Paul raised mine 1.5" or so....I'm not sure exactly what he did..but it is VERY strong...I've leaned on it pretty heavily when cleaning the car & it doesn't budge or squeek! Plus its super comfy, compared to the too low, hard stock one!

I recently had the driver's seat leather replaced while in San Antonio. The leather was great... the installation was terrible. Didn't have a chance to get fixed while in S.A. Just relocated to Tampa and need to find someone here to fix this. Any recommendations on leather shops in the area?

I used a company in Ft Lauderdale Fla, TRIMCAR.COM, see them on the webb. They did both my front seats in full leather for $1000.00.

I had 928leathershop.com do my center console with the porsche crest on it for about 150.00

My car was featured in Porsche Panorama over the summer and I listed all who helped me restore the car. Check them out. Price and quality were there from both vendors.

Paul,

I have an '86.5S. Red, black vinyl interior.

I need a new shifter, dash (cracked), pod (cracked), and probably a new center console and carpet. I see that you do all of those things.

I am TOTALLY impressed with the pictures of your work on your website, and equally impressed by all the testimonials on the board.

Question: My car is in Central California. What are my choices? Do I have to drive the car to Corpus Christi to get it fixed? Is there another way, given that I don't think I have the mechanical chops to disassemble the dash and pod?

One more thing, Paul-- how long would the above take, given that I would schedule the work weeks (if not months) in advance?

Thanks, Stephen, but I need a local shop where I can just drop the car off and hitch a ride to work. If it comes down to removing the seat(s) and shipping them, I'm going to use Paul Champagne as I know him and have seen his work. Appreciate the response!
Paul, I'll PM you this morning for options.
