I think that mark at fast has a little bad attitude. I looked on his web site and found no phone number only a e-mail address kinda strange?

George,

You won't find a phone number on my website, either. In fact, you won't find my website. It's secret.

He answers email promptly. He probably just doesn't like interruptions - can you blame him?

I dunno George, I dont sense a bad attitude on his part. I have had a return email from him and he even sent me some interesting detailed descriptions (summary level) on the installation.

I do sense two things. 1) He continues to have some bad feelings about the negative comments that have shown up here about the kit. (I told him I think at this point it appears to be just "noise". That the good references way out weigh the "noise" and the credibility of the "noise" is in serious question here. I only speak for myself on this) 2)They may not be the best marketers in the world. His web site could use a lot more pictures, tied to the testamonials that he has there. And, yes as you point out he could be easier to get ahold of by phone (although I hadn't even noticed the lack of a number).

Anyone in a service businees needs a contact number. If I'm going to shell out thousands of dollars I sure would like a human to talk to no dam e-mail. But mark is quick to slam somebody on the board. If his product is far superior than the others on the market, then let the cream rise to the top don't beat your chest dragging out others dirty laundry on the board.

George,

Two yard penalty! <img border="0" alt="[oops]" title="" src="graemlins/oops.gif" />

I think you already used the “let the cream rise to the top” line in another post.

Mark...for God's sake...get a phone before that turns into a thread

Hey Chris, I am reading this post of yours, I see you are beginning to also slam the FAST bracket, why ?

I mean who cares if it's welded so you can Anodize it a pretty blue, ya can't bearly see the damn bracket, (yours included i would say) by the time you bolt everything on, so whats your point here ?

Ok so they flex a little, and you say yours does too, again, so what, one little stabilizer mod that cost 5 bucks and your done! I bet your'll be doing the same , once you actually get the boost wound up. again, what's your real point ?

so what have you really brought to the table, an integrated tensioner, that looks interesting, why not talk about this feature, it's the only thing I see that's worth talking about.

Question:

How do you tension the belt once the stuff is bolted in the car ?

How easy is it to re-tension the belt after it starts to stretch ?

Do you have a sping tensioner method incorperated in this design so you don't have to re-tention the belt every other day ?

have you got this new system up and running on a car yet ? from the pictures I have seen so far, it doesn't look like it. Yet your trying to tell everyone that it's a better design, based on what ?

and last of all,

why is Bernie your mouth ?, he seems to have let the cat out the bag as you say, how come you couldn't speak for yourself from the start ?

It seems that Bernie has little credibilty around here anymore, this does nothing but hurt your effort to bring 928 stuff to the table.

just askin' questions

Just for information's sake, I have spoken with Mark R. a couple of times on the phone involving a 5 psi kit for a friend's 89' and an over boosted one for one of my projects. If you are serious about it, I'm sure he will respond to your e-mail with his phone #. If he posted his # on his website, he'd never have any time to get any work done. Every JoeBob would be calling him with questions about everything under the sun with no intention to buy anything. I'm sure that George911-V8 could take up a couple of days worth of phone time and then just to have fuel for his arguments. It seems to me that most people are not serious enough to even leave him an e-mail!

I do think that his kits are a bit overpriced, but you have to take into account that the kits developed for Camaro's and Vette's are done by the supercharger factory. They probably sell more kits for one year of Camaro than the total of 928's ever made. I think that this would qualify as a custom installation. I'm sure that if everyone that owned a 928 were to supercharge it, the costs would be more inline with the factory offerings. Now there's an idea, 60,000 supercharged 928's romping all over the world!

And yes Mark, please update your website. It adds fuel to the fire for those people still sitting on the fence. Your burnout mpeg has made it around the world!

Hi Guys, I do feel embarassed taking some of this personally, but hey, my older designs are assumed to be our current, and it continues still.

Frustrating more than anything. Everyone who's emailed me asking to get in touch personally has my private numbers, otherwise I'd never get my day work accomplished.

We'll work on pricing and updating the spreadsheet this weekend, our apologies on that.

I (FAST) will not be posting any further comments regarding "other" kits, as if people have not learned by now how to listen to others (isn't this what this board is all about??), and choose to fall victim to fraudulent claims/people even after the warning signs are clear, then they deserve to be taken advantage of. (sorry, it's true).

Anyone wanting to discuss our kits with us personally can email us and request to do so, we'll happily accommodate their wishes.

Best,

Mark R

KETCHMI: I don't need any fuel to cause a augument. I base all my statements on pure facts. I think where there is smoke there is fire and I see some smoke. I don't know Mark @ Fast from Joe the rag man. Mark @ Fast made a statememt that I take serious issue with. He classes me with people he says are theives. Maybe you don't take issue with that but I do. As far as his blower bracket design,if I wanted a bracket I would just go get one built. I don't need him at all. I need Mark @ Fast like a fish needs a 928.

I apologize to everyone beforehand for what I'm about to say.

George, why are you so involved in these posts? Have you ever done business with Mark R., or Eric Munck or anyone else involved with these posts? Have you ever seen or laid your hands on any part that is being discussed? Do you even own a 928? WHO ASKED YOU!

The purpose of these posts are to help one another with the care, upkeep and modification of "OUR" 928's. Going through many of your last posts, what help have you ever brought to the table? Have you ever posted anything positive about anything other than your own flame breathing monster machines that cannot be beat by anyone?

Put your anger and flaming capability to use on the IRS, the government, or the latest religion that you choose to hate. I, for one, am done reading anything that you have to post. Your contributions do not help anyone.

Yes everyone, I fully expect a personal slamfest to ensue from George, but don't feel too bad. I won't bother reading them, it's not worth my time.

KETCHMI: First Bringham Young did not find the tablets. Second I have seen a product of fast with my own eyes. Third no I don't personally own a 928, but my very good friend does and I help him fully with the project. As far as me not adding input to my post, I only call it as I see it sometimes the truth hurts then so be it. Forth I think big Al is the man to turn this country around.

George, I for one always appreciate your keen insight on all topics related to the 928. Your posts add a kind of twisted balance to the argument at hand. If there is no argument, then you show us that there can be. And most importantly, you serve as a kind of mentor to us… one who reminds us that there are all kinds of people in this world. Keep up the good work. Maybe start a separate thread regarding Brigham Young, Al Sharpton & supercharged Mustangs?

Signed,
Your Humble Admirer,
O & N

OLD & NEW: To be totally honest I look forward to my morning coffee, newspapers and rennlist everyday. I call a spade a spade if its blue then its blue. I have a statement I say all the time "You can't make a wrong a right". I hope that people take my post for 100% of what it says in text, not what it might say. I willing to give all my resources to someone in need anytime. People that know me will stand up and tell you the same thing. Anytime I make a comment I have done my research to back my comments up, not just personal opions. I love racing thats my first love about cars. I think without racing, cars would be just a vechile to get to point a to point b. We all don't race but watching racing gives us a ideas about making our cars the best they can be. Racing makes it all the fun. Not everybody can win their is only 1 winner but it sure is fun trying. Making your playtoy the best it can be is all the fun, hell money is not everything enjoying life is priceless!!!!!. As far as religion and big Al goes thats another day.

Man, this topic turned into garbage fast (no pun intended).

Mark R,

I certainly understand your defense of yourself and your company. Obviously there is a whole lot of interest in supercharging 928, and alot of 2nd hand information. I've only seen three supercharged 928 and only had the oportunity to talk to one of the owners of those cars. That would be Randy Page and he installed one of your FAST kits. From what I know and what he has said in posts here, it's been a fairly successfull install, and he continues to improve on it and learn from it. If anyone stopped development after the initial introduction of a product, I would say that would be un-American. Obviously, a successfull install is helped by the competence of the installer.

If you would like, come to the US 928 Frenzy (7th Annual) this year and I will give you an hour (or more if needed) to present your product and answer questions or address any concerns of the participants. I think we need a bit more High Performance presentations at this years Frenzy.

Thanks.
