Yup. I LOVE the idea of keeping the OB's on the road and hope this one finds a good owner. But if the respray and Armor-all lathering are indicative of a shine-a-sh*t mentality, then you'd better have a PPI.

pretty damn nice car for a 78. Of course it's a respray- It's a 30 year old car.
Relax-you didn't look as good when u were 30.
Ya know seems to me 928 owners are so critical of everyone elses ****. BUT so much perfume for their own crap.

Actually, most of us looked better without being peeled, lifted, tucked, or resprayed.

If thats an earl schieb respray I'll send my old 79 down to him and spend some time detailing the overspray off.Hell....they charge less for the whole job than I could buy paint, sand paper and beer for my painter.

Looks like a sharp car, but not worth anywhere near the BIN. The spoiler has to go!

It may not be worth the price, but my guess is that this car looked pretty bad prior to the repaint. So it has gone from a pretty ugly car, probably in pretty bad shape, to a car that looks pretty cool, at least from a distance.

I think we're critical about the price and that it's a bit of a sham. --cute kids, btw, but mine are cuter.

Shill bidding is very common on E-bay until it hits the reserve... even though they try to prohibit it it is a fact of life. And yes you can get a good looking ten foot away paint job from the low cost places just do NOT expect it to last very long. I had my wife's VW Fox painted twice before it went away each time it looked good for a couple years.

Nice of you to drop in after your vacation.

Anyway,

Not buying this one (price is way out of wack), but I am keeping an eye out for a nice '78 or '79 in decent shape. I think this one looks "decent" for a 30 year old. I also hope it finds a good home and it would be nice for more of the OB's to be put back on the road.

Seeing alot of OB's out there, this one does look pretty good, respray or not. Yeah, there are some nits and picks but come on, it's a 78!!!

Also, the only thing that I was concerned with was the doors. It is it me or do the doors look like they are not lining up properly?
