This is not a request for funds it is simply an answer to a question posted on the thread. Hopefully this is not against the rules of the board. If it is I will PM the individuals with the information.
There are two local charities involved in the Tahoe Angora Fire. All funds will only go to the victims of this tragic fire. One is administered by the Rotary Club , the other by the South Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce. I have personally spoken to their representatives and these are the two we will use. Below is the press release for the two relief efforts: For your accountant and records, the tax i.d.# is 88-6008753.
The Angora fire tragedy prompted locals to seek ways to contribute to the relief efforts. There are two local ways to donate recognized and supported by the Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce (LTSSCC).
The first is “Tahoe Businesses Who Care” comprised of businesses contributing a percentage of their gross revenues to Angora Fire relief efforts administered by the Tahoe Douglas Rotary. Jana Walker Spano founded Tahoe Businesses Who Care during the 9/11 crises in order to find a way for businesses to help fellow Americans. Now, she focuses the fund solely on our local community. The LTSSCC offers its support to those businesses wishing to contribute through Tahoe Businesses Who Care. To join and pledge please e-mail TahoeBusinessesWhoCare@gmail.com. Checks can be made out to the Tahoe Douglas Rotary for this effort.
Another way to contribute is through the Locals for Locals Angora Fire Fund sponsored by the LTSSCC. This fund is established to accommodate cash donations. All proceeds deposited into the Locals for Locals Angora Fire Fund will go directly to community members displaced by the fire. This fund is administered by the Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce. Those wishing to contribute can make donations at the U.S. Bank on Highway 50 (Or any other U.S. Bank under the Locals for Locals Angora Fire Fund). Checks to the Locals for Locals Angora Fire Fund should addressed to the Locals for Locals Angora Fire Fund and mailed to P.O. Box 17640, South Lake Tahoe, California 96151.

Tim and Cheryl,
Thank you for the great event, I am certainly glad we made it over to Sharks at the Lake.
As Erik said, if you make it over this way you will always have a place to stay.
Looking forward to seeing the Beast break the record, GOOD LUCK......
Hope all turns out well for the area after the Fire,
Richard
