Thank you so much for this info! Any idea if he is on the board here and under what name? I believe I saw pics of that car before on here...

Angelos car has HUGE TIRES....I think they are 295 rears...but he did have to flare the fenders to make it fit!

First off, I am sorry to have hijacked this thread...it really looks like you guys (and girls!) had an awesome time!

Thats what I thought when I saw the pictures...was not sure if they were extremely rolled/pulled or if there are actual flares on it...either way, my car will have some minor bodywork done and is going to be repainted anyways, so that's not an issue...Angelo's car just looks really great IMHO.

And now I will shut up and get out of this thread...LOL...I did sent Angelo a PM. Thanks again for the help.

Tim and Cheryl,

Kimberly and I want to thank you for putting on such a great event and gathering. We had wonderful time and the drives though the picturesque landscapes of the Tahoe area were awwwwsome.

It was great meeting a bunch of new folks and seeing those that we met at last year's SATL. And most of all, all those wonderful Ferrari 928s parked in the front of CalNeva.

So what are the dates for next year??? I think I'll paint a Blackjack on the car for next years event.

Tim & Cheryl
Once again, thank you for another memorable SATL.
Trip home was uneventful. Followed Bill and Kevin to 395/14 split without a problem.
Had a great time seeing everyone.
Can't wait to do it again next year.

I got in the door about an hour ago... and after 1,303 miles, it's good to smell the salt air.

Tim & Cheryll

Thank You! After missing last years SATL, there was NO way I was missing it again. You have a solid handle on how this is to be run, and you sure demonstrated it this year, all the way down to receiving the coveted Rubber Chicken award ( I think some wear time for the Rainbow Fro' Mohock should be included, wink, wink). Filling the cul'de sac (sp?) with Sharks was verrry cool and the BBQ went off without a hitch at a beautiful house. The Cellar is just a little overwhelming.

Tim, you have a truly gifted life, thanks for inviting us in to enjoy it!

And a special Thank You for making my Aunt, Uncle, Cousin, and her husband "part of the gang", eventhough I missd the meet and greet by several hours. They throughly enjoyed it and they Thank You.

I have a new appreciation for the SD crew, not exactly life threatening situations, but it was an award winning performance! Steve was a real Boyscout here, I think he's going to add a line of chemicals and "roll on-roll off" capability to his new toolbox. And the Girl's hung tough by discussing brides gowns and floral arrangements, kudos, the guys could never pull that off!

It's always great to put faces to names and especially to get to share old stories, and these 928'ers are not short for stories. Good to see old friends again.

Thanks Eric (sp?) for letting me ride along on the Fun Run, she did pretty well!!!

Didn't somebody mention The Beast's Sat fun run would be on an upcomming article of Excellence.

Thanks Again!

Default Thanks to Tim and Cheryl for a great event

We want to add our thanks to Tim and Cheryl for a first rate weekend. The three of us had a great time, even though we almost melted (literally with 100+ temps in stop and go traffic and no A/C) on the way up. My daughter enjoyed her first fun drive in a 928 and as you will see below took some pretty good pictures for her first time with a "real" camera. My wife was impressed as well with how friendly everyone was and now has a much better understanding of what makes the 928 community more than a bunch of guys (and gals) with the same car.

Here are some pictures from the weekend. (Fun drive pictures courtesy of J.Bondy)

Rich though he had it won, but it wasn't to be

My car hit the 70K milestone on the drive to Tim and Cheryl's on Sunday

Tim & Cheryl,

I am at a little bit of a loss for words. All I can say is THANK YOU!!! Your hospitality and the work you put into the event was overwelming. That little bag for talia was a great suprise and much appreciated (she's still playing with all that stuff). This was my first (of many) SATL, and I can truly say I have never been prouder to be a 928 owner. What an incredibly great group of people, all of you. And kudos to the Cal Neva to, they were sure accomadating to us.

Thanks Eric (sp?) for letting me ride along on the Fun Run, she did pretty well!!!

Brian, at least I was able to drive my own shark, rather than beg for rides. Who's the loser now?

And yes, I sucked at the Blackjack. Angelo had the Mojo. Congrats Angelo!
