Unhappy Adios and Goodbye.....

The sharpest 1987 S4 in Texas will be heading for its' new home in Maryland in a few days.

I agonized long and hard over parting with it, but it came down to too many toys and not enough time to play with them all. Made sure the new owner was appreciative of the joys of a 928, and that it was going to a good home.

Gentlemen, and lady, it has been a real pleasure.

P.S. I'll get the Houston list out to Max today.

Adios, Auf Wiedersehen, Adieu...

Max, thanks.

I've still got my eye on that GT sitting out back at Advantage. Taking my wife to Jamaica this summer, maybe she'll let me have another.

Will keep an eye on your car until the engine arrives.

Howdy Mike,

I know the guy who bought your car. Hes a fellow Rennlister (944) I met at the first Balto/DC beer night back in January. Lives about 10 miles from me too. Heck of nice guy. Took me for a quite a few games of 8-ball at the last Beer Nite.

The car will be just fine. Its in good hands.

Mike, next time I talk to Steve or Larry (Porsche Service) I will see what I can find out about the Black GT. With the plate numbers in hand, two dollars and a trip to the DMV one could find out who owns it

When I get an ETA on the motor install I will let you know via e-mail.

Kindest,regards

Max

Unhappy

Mike,
Like the 'T' shirt says; "He who dies with the most toys, WINS!!!
Sorry to hear you are turning in your fins, especially, since I haven't seen your 87' S4,
er... not that I wouldn't be glad to meet you, really!
I'm wishing your sHARk a bright future, but I have seen my share of TEXAS cars after they were dragged off to the rust belt. At least the shark
will have a regular diet of curves and hills now, and don't forget water, trees and grass!
Been said before... if we get a gathering together the welcome mat is extended.
Later days,
John S. <img src="graemlins/bigok.gif" border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" /> <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
