Post Tire questions

I recently changed my rims and tires to 996 wheels with the original set of Continental ContiSportCantact tires on it. 205/50 ZR17 front and 255/40 ZR17 rear.

- What pressure should I be running these tires on? I am currently running on 38 PSI all around.

- When it's time to replace them, can I go with wider tires on the same rims? Especially the front looks a bit small. Any suggestions? 235 front, 275 rear?

thanks,
Sab.

I previously had 235/40/17 on the front and 275/40/17 on the back. My new set is the standard GTS setup with 225/45/17 and 255/40/17. So you should be able to go that wide. However, I like the new setup much better - looks and performance but the tires could also have some impact.

Dont remember if 996 wheels are the same as Cup2 but here is a picture of mine.
