Ah ! OK, I understand that the AA chips were based on an 88 S4 EPROM, so you should be OK.

Bear in mind that you require the tester to have the earlier type of lead that car a 12way rectangular plug, not the later round 19 pin type.

My "Spanner" is available with both types, and I am sure someone on Rennlist has a tester and 12way plug lead.
