EMERGENCY-HELP!! Tensioner bolt missing, need size
Hi All,
Bad, bad BAD situation here-went start the shark at work, rattle under the hood, found BOTH tensioner mounting bolts GONE!!!!!!! Just got done a few weeks ago with the whole t-belt/tensioner thing, but apparently didn't get the bolt tight enough-no way will I drive it like this, but I can't leave it at work..AHHH!!! Need bolt size/thread pitch if possible. Then we'll see if I can find them locally.. Thanks everyone, I know you'll come through for a fellow sharkster... <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" />

Not sure what model year you have, but at any rate..
all bolts are M8 and range from 45, 55, 60, or 62 mm in length.
The bolts are sized from outboard (passenger fender) to center of engine in the following order-
45 - 55- 60 (for 87+ models) or 62 for pre 87 models.
The difference between the 60 and 62 probably is of little consequence.

Thanks, Jay, you are the MAN!
Just called the local fastener place, they've got em. So, I'll just add "check tensioner bolts" to my usual pre-flight check, which is turning into a daily thing....but so what! My major panic just turned into a $7 fix-gotta love those!!!
God Bless Rennlist!!!!!
Take care all.
