Hello everyone....I hope all of you are having fun this summer driving your cars.

I'e been busy with several car restoration projects this summer.
I need someone with an '87 S4 Auto tranny to be kind enough to test my cars' computers. I've been having problems starting and running my car '87 (presently undrivable) so I need to verify that the computer units are working okay or not.

I will ship both computer units to you in a nicely packages box and I will of course pay all the shipping costs. All you have to do is unplug your control units, located in the lower right footwell passenger side, plug in each of of my control units separetely and test your car's performance and running condition.... These things either work well or they don;t....I just need to make sure they are still functional or not before replacing them.

A 5-speed S4, GT, or probably even a GTS can also be used to test the computers.

I believe 928 Specialists will test these as a courtesy service.

So does 928 International, and I'd be willing to bet DEVEK would as well.

The GT has/needs a higher idle speed than the S4 - may or may not work.

DEVEK tested mine for freight charge only. (FYI, the infamous PO put an auto brain in mine, and it does not make any noticeable difference)
