I locked the belt and cam gears down at TDC. I removed the tensioner bolt and the shaft length is 1-3/4", is this correct? When the belt is adjusted to the proper tension I only have 3/16" gap between the locknut and bolt head. If the bolt is correct, can the tensioner be removed without fully removing the front cover (harmonic balancer, ps and alt. bracket)?

Garth must be away. I think he has every tensioner version ever made. That does sound very short, but there is no way for me to check right now.
