Default Eastwood Fender Roller

I would like to put much wider rear tires on my '91GT but very hesitant to roll the fenders myselft. Saw this roller in the Eastwood catalog. Has anybody seen or use this roller? Not sure the justification to use it only once for the money tho.

There have been a fair number of threads on this.

Like this one: fender rolling

I mentioned something about Eastwood's tool (see post #10 in that thread), too, and it seems that it doesn't fit our bolt patterns.

It is easily modified to work on 928s, I have one and it works great.

Ahhh... that's good to know.

Would you be willing to lend it out for a fee + shipping? I'm guessing that there are quite a few people (like me) who would be a little more confident using a controlled device like that rather than the bat method.

Can this even work on our fenders? After all, they are not round, but rather oval in shape...

If you know how to weld you could easily adapt a new hub centric plate with the correct bolt pattern to this tool. It just some work.

Can you actually flare the fender, or just crease the inner lip?

Has anyone tried one of these to flare the front fenders for more clearance?

Not necessary, all you have to do is enlarge the bolt pattern holes with a die grinder etc.

You can do both if you like. I flattened the fronts lips of the Euro and flattened and flared the rears.

Yes, doing the rears on a pre GTS requires multiple passes and adjustments to mimic the factory shape.

Check out Andrew Olsens site, He has a link to a video of flairing his 928.
