XXX Root Beer Run in Issaquah, WA
Attention all PNW Shark owners, on April 14th there is a Porsche breakfast run to XXX Root Beer in Issaquah. A bunch of us P-car owners are coming down from Vancouver, BC to meet up with Seattle area owners for breakfast. After that, we are heading down to Pacific International Raceway (PIR) for the SOVEREN (Seattle Vintage Racing Group) season opener: http://www.sovren.org/Page_1.html
Hope some of you can make it, it would be great to see a large turn out of 928's and meet some of you from the Pacific Northwest area. We plan to be at XXX by 9:00 am on the 14th.

That's a bummer...as that date corresponds with our semi-annual Spokane Track Attack....Most of us head over to Spokane on Friday April 13...run the track the 14th...and come back the same day...
A few of us did the XXX rootbeer swap meet a few years ago..great location, food, and fun..
Later,
Tom

Those of you in Canda or in the Pugeot Sound area wishing to join in on the drive down, here are the meeting points:
We will meet at the Exxon gas station about 1 mile south of the Pacific Border Crossing (Truck Crossing) in Blaine. This is located at the corner of Boblett St. and Yew Ave. beside the Blaine Airport and just before the entrance ramp to Interstate 5.
We will meet there between 6:15 and 6:30 AM. Mandatory sign up on the waiver/insurance will be done at this time. Please note - we must leave at 6:30 AM sharp. If you miss us, you will be able to catch up at the coffee stopp in Burlington. This will be the Grand Prix Espresso coffee bar. We will leave Burlington at 7:45 AM sharp.

That was really nice to see everyone, thank you Canadian brothers for coming down!!!! Had the pleasure of meeting Terri's lovely wife (they just got married ) and see Sharkmeister and friends. I really hope we can gettogether more often as Seattle comes out of the muddy fungus season for its month of sun!!!!

Thanks, Heinrich for meeting up with us! Wish we could have spent more time catching up. Special thanks to gbarron!! There's a few guys out there who will give you the "shirts off their backs", but when the chips are down, how many will give you the "shark from their garage" to drive for the day?

Glenn, glad you enjoyed the day! The car needed a good run on the new TB/WP anyway. I just couldn't bear to see her sit in the garage while I was out with another......
