The only difference between the relay pins is that the VW relay has one less.
In some photos I have posted it may look different but thats because the printing on the side of the relay is on a different face - which makes the pins a different orientation. My intent was to primarily show the labeling differences...
The other relay difference are the function and the VW relay is usually shorter than the Porsche ones - however the VW one seems to come in several different versions of varying size (same functions though).
Just in case anyone is interested I have them new for $25 plus shipping.

No the silly wheel thingy will no longer have any effect.... so you will no longer be confused about which way to turn it for longer/shorter delays - you won't regret that it is redundant for one moment since you can uses the intermittent stalk to immediately set any delay you want....
Then you can dream up new uses for the rheostat... or the space where it was.
So Roger you have them for sale but haven't installed one?
I drive it every day regardless... The last few weeks we've had enough rain for me to actually for real test my intermittent rear wiper & washers (yes its still overkill here...).
Ernie on the digi-dash its left or right and I never remembered which way was which... once you upgrade you never look back... just do it!
Rain yes, but not the snow, and I won't ride if I think there's any salt left on the roads (a good pouring rain washes it away real good). But I'm getting tired of manually clicking the wipers all the time. This relay is just the ticket.

Rear washer! Wow.
Digi dash good. Left Right potentiometer adjust VERY VERY bad.
How insidious is that.
It's like making the turn signal stalk left right signal with push or pull motion.
