Yeah, the steering got to go. I wonder if Willhoit will be getting this car. The seats looks dirty and the rest of the interior is dusty.

Not a snowballs chance in the middle of an Arizona summer heatwave!

By all accounts, this car is a piece of ****. Its the body kit and the fact that its a convertible...but 1 out of 40,000 928 owners likes a 928 convertible. Therefore, the kit is the value of the car.

It's a used kt which is probably stressed, weak and BAKED as we can see regarless of paint. Is it worth the "Buy It Now" price?..in a perfect world...Hell yea! In the real world, the car is lucky if it gets $10K. Too many issues and no real info listed. Buyer beware...money pit for sale. Looks fabulous though!

I remember this car from a few years ago when it was up for sale.
The car has amazing presence...even with 15" wheels! I like it.
Atleast it appears to have the good Euro motor in it.
Any body get the actual VIN?
Im sure the body work is showing its age and would have to be refreshed.

LOL - What 928 isn't???

I must be one of the 40,000 928 owners that like it! It's one of the few 928 verts done very well. Engine compartment looks pretty dirty. The interior looks suspect. You think they could have atleast armoralled the seats or something before taking those dusty pictures...

This car is very tempting..

Surely one of the Phoenix Rennlisters could shoot over to tucson and let us know its condition. I love it too. I agree with the statement that all 928's are money pits but this might be worth it to fix up.

I reread the description of the car or should I say what description..."timing belt for distributor??, when did new cats add great sound? gauges was spelled wrong...

My guess for what it needs:
- Synchros are probably on the way out at 80k+
- New clutch
- New master/ slave
- Complete run through of vacuum hoses
- Double check when TB/WP was actually completed
- Pod teardown - fix odo gear and 'ground' problem.

...

This is a Euro engine with twin distributors so yes, there is a "timing" belt for the distribitors.

I also believe this might be the ex-Hammer car.

Would it be illegal to make mouldings of that car. If not, someone should buy it and sell copies of it. As long as the price is right Sing me Up. Is the bodykit made of fiberglass?

Nah, he's just trying to keep everyone else from bidding on it so he can keep the price down for himself... :-)
