The Porsche 928 is a force to be reckoned with.

True dat.

Me thinks H-man mocks us for our werdz.

And yo! H, That last post didn't have "928" in it except for your .sig. And thus you mock the 928 Karma god as well.

I think as long as 928s have parts either built by Porsche or built by Ken I will own them. Technology is different, and while the Modern Car USES technology to get better and better, the car itself is NOT Technology.

Technology is making Guns and Bombs better and more precise, but the basic idea is still the same - blowing **** up.

For me, its Automotive enjoyment. Thats what cars are for, and secondarily, getting me where I am going quickly.

But I will say that the original, Stock design of the 928 is something that I cannot leave alone. I must change it to suit me.

There are only two cars that I could fathom buying to sit beside the 928, and I have driven neither, nor could I afford them in the next 30 days:

Audi R8
Corvette Z06

Other Porsche cars, really, do not interest me. MAYBE the Gt3.

While it may not seem important to some, the community SURROUNDING the vehicle and its legend or reputation is important to me. This is indeed why I think twice and thrice about ever owning a Corvette. And this is also why I will probably never own an *** Dragging Porsche, or the 951.

And this is why I have no interest in keeping my S2000 past the day my 928S is running in the driveway.

Color. The best 928 would be the best color combo (condition constant). The different models just aren't that different. For driving, I think 5sp vs auto a bigger deal than S-whatever.
