I was in such a pissy mood yesterday from work, when I got home and plopped my *** in the chair for rennlist I made the mistake of going to OT first. I put in 2 posts, deleted one and had to walk away or I'd have said some really stupid, angry stuff.

I will make sure that I open a beer before I post when I'm angry.

oh, the big group of the944 guys are a bunch of ********. The other 90% are good people from what I can tell. But man, to let them..............nevermind, i'm getting irritated again.

Need a beer.

OK, gentlemen, while I have no need to explain, I'll humor you. At 200,000 miles on the odometer, in traffic, you have to take the picture when you can.

No "dis"respect intended. I love the 928 and will one day own one. I'd much rather have the raw 8 cyl. horsepower than a turbo-charged 4 cyl. But for now, my 944 will just have to do. Better half a 928 than no 928.

I don't understand the either/or option. They're two different tools but they're both fun to drive.

Face it guys, new owners will be younger.

And younger well intended buyers will have more shopping dollars.

It's funny to see how many have a 951 listed in their "gone but not forgotten" sig lines...

What a wealth of knowledge I have gained. I have seen the light and will now sell my 928 to get a 951. The 928 just looks so out of place parked in the trailer park.

Damn those 951 owners! They make all us young, sensible, intelligent 928 owners look so bad. Seems to me like some rice burner fans got a hold of some Porsches.

In all seriousness, there is a serious shift in demographic for some of the older Porsches, and the 4 banger crowd has entered into a solid "Pimplefaced pants-dragging spikedhair" direction. There are of course a few holdouts, but the posts don't lie. Its like I'm back in the S2000 boards when I read the 951 stuff.

us? We have changed little since I can recall.

Some of you should be ashamed of your behavior in that thread.

It all just a mine is bigger then your's thing. There are some vendors selling the rights mods to make these 951 very very fast. Mine was very fast and with a bigger turbo and allot of $$$ I could make it "OH MY GOD FAST". I read through some of the post and after 5 pages it was just allot of bull ****. I recently went to a 928 get togather just a bunch of guys talking car's. Nice thing for me was it was guys close to my age (45) and older. Nice thing was there were no 18-20 year olds. I am not knocking that age group at all my son is 20 and he sits at his computer and dreams about the stuff he wants to do to his Misterbeeshe (yes I spelled it that way on purpose). Truth is he just does not have the $$ to drop in his car. With this thought in mind allot of younger guys tend to own the 944 series. They can be bought pretty cheap and it is a Porsche.

So it is just another pissing match
