In preparing our race car, my buddy & I purchased the bigger brake components for our car:

$320 OEM Porsche 993 rotors (with high-temp painted hats)
$450 Used S4 calipers, freshly epoxy-painted red.
$15? New S4 caliper bolts
$50? New pads: 928 intl-purchased: forgot the brand, but street/track pads
$195 New 928INTL brake caliper adapters
'81 Spindles off our '81 car ($200 value)
$1230 + invested

This above combination fits the '82-through-early '86 cars, or 78-81 cars w/o the spindles. Others can chime in to verify, but this should *SHOULD* clear 16" wheels since 993's & S4's both had 16" wheels.

It appears at we now have a source for a newer suspension that will yield more benefits than our '81 can offer, so if this purchase goes through, we will be selling off our big brake items above. Best offer will take it, but we feel $1100 for everything organized & ready to ship is fair (we can discuss shipping methods & cost, but figure about $4o-50 total shipping).

Chime in if you're interested. Will consider selling the spindles separately if there's enough interest in '78-81 928'ers for the remainder of the kit. I'll have pictures later in the week.
