32v S4 Twin Turbo installed pics.

I've already posted a link in another thread which was sorta OT to title hence new thread for those that would be interested .
Ex Rennlister Herr-Kuhn has posted pics & details of his nearly finished 32v S4 TT install over on the Pelican form

WOW !

Wicked looking. I'm sure that engine is scared.

We were drooling all over these pictures last night at the Indy Area 928 Beer Night.

This is the setup Hans has mentioned a few times. I’m glad I don’t have the money right now because there are so many viable choices for bossing. Hopefully I will have both dilemmas solved in the next 12 to 15 months.

For now I just keep dreaming!

Note to self: Invest in shoe-horns. :p

Looks like it was nicely executed, but those zip-ties near the turbos have me a bit woried. I think there is a serios risk of melting. Hopefully the hoses don't really need them to stay in place.

Can't wait to see the numbers from this beast!

Any guesses on price? 10k? More? The turbos alone would set you back a chunk. Can't wait to see the power output.

Only problem preventing me from using such kit is that body needs to be cut. I also believe thats how factory would have done it though. There is space for good sized air/water IC at back of the engine. Should provide means to fairly high boost levels.

christ, the plumbing...

I was thinking the same thing. The IC I have on my car would be perfect, just add an inlet on the other side.

I'm assuming there is an air / air down there somewhere. Using an air to water would simplify the plumbing. I'm not trying to start an IC battle - just tossing ideas.

If you really want to have air/air intercoolers - you gots to have plumbing.

OT: I've never seen the Pelican forum so busy! :p

Could be much worse. Actually looks sort of ok and most likely very hard to shorten much without very large hammer. If throtle lingage were out of the way there would be room for those new style air to water tube coolers on both side of intake. Three IC's, hard to beat that.

The headers are quite the sexy works of tech-art.

I remember reading an article in Sport Compact Car (back when it was run by gearheads and not fashionistas) about a custom turbo header application. The builders fabbed up this wild bundle-o-snakes manifold based on pulse-timing calculations for high RPMs. They combined it with a then-new ceramic ball-bearing turbo, and laid down over 400 horsies on a chassis dyno... from an internally stock 4 banger in a 4-door Honda Accord.

So if John has got his math right, his S4 is going to freakin' FLY.

That is some really nice fab work. The headers look really good. I built a 5-1 for my car this past summer and it's a bitch. He doesn't say what turbo he's running. I'd guess twin GT28RSs? If so, they are good for nearly 400 hp a piece. The new GT series is really nice.

Wow, very nice! Dyno should be interesting....
