Default 928 Calendar

Does anyone make a yearly 928 calendar? Thought of it with the new year coming.

So many get togethers and so many awesome pictures from them, figured someone could put one together.

If someone does, I would absolutely BUY one!

BUY, because I do not have the knowlege or the equipment.....

You must have esp. I was thinking of putting something together if it was cost effective.

I would be willing to shoot a photo or two for it. This could be cool. Members could pick the shots, kind of a contest. Best be for 2008 though.

If you don't want to go big time, there are online services where you can upload your photos and "produce" your own calendar.

My wife does it for holiday gifts for the family.

I'll get the name of the service that she used. The quality of the calendar was surprisingly good, heavy stock paper, it looked like something you would buy in a store.

The only thing was, some of the colors in the photo's were not exactly correct, and that bothered me a bit. It was fine for a family photo calendar, but maybe we could find a service that does a better job on the pics.

Unless someone wanted to step up to the plate to work with a local printer that is. -Ed

The German 928 club has published one for 2007. I'm trying to get my hands on some of these, as the numbers are limited. I don't know, yet, what the shipping will cost me, but I might have a few of them available for somewhere between $35 and $40.

This first calendar is themed around the early, pre-S models. Next year will be the "S" models with the older body style, then probably the "S4", and so on before they start over.

PM me, if you're interested in getting one!

ZEUS+, Must be that NH folk think alike

Please let us know what you find out on cost, I think 30 bucks is not bad at all per, but would have to be a pretty good list of people I think to try to get 'er done at that price....

Perrys4 - thats a great idea, but yes, that would take more time, maybe for 2008.

If we could get a bunch of people to submit pictures or if someone has pictures already from one of the large gatherings this year......doesnt matter to me, I just want 928's at work on my wall!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like the makings of a new thread. Or maybe we just vote on ones from Andrew's random 928 picture thread.

Narrow it down to the top 20 or so vote-getters by June, and have finals through the fall. Then they should be ready to go to press in time to publish in December.

Some of the avatars here could make it, although I have to say (no offense Andrew) that some just wouldn't be right .

Dan,

I guess if it's on the cover we wouldn't have to have it hanging for a month, but I just couldn't explain that to the wife. I've already had to disable avatars at work because of that thread...
