Default Nice wheels, okay offset

I have mentioned these before. They worked GREAT on my 86. VERY light, and good price.

Now they have an even better rear size,

I bought a different set that actually was in the 500 range including shipping. Great, light, strong wheels from Indonesia or Thailand or somewhere.

Which offset would be better for the rear 10" for an S4 w/o spacers? 48 or 60?

Well, a 10" Twin Turbo wheel with 275s and a 65mm offset is a bit IN for my tastes. So The lower offset of 48 with that wide of a wheel, will, I think, limit your tire choices.

So I would think this 60mm offset would be perfect for a stock car with very little fender rolling. The 50mm offset with the 8inch wheel on my 86 front took a 245 tire, and its tight, but great turn in - best of any 928 I have driven, and when I took the rack apart it has a 1/8" play in each tie rod, and the bushings had returned to their original state: black goop.

On a 10" rim, I think the 60MM offset will be fine. Worst case you need a little spacer.

These wheels are tempting. I've been thinking about getting something wider than a 9", but I think I should bite the bullet and go to the 11" rim, albeit harder to find. But I'm goign to keep these in mind.

DO you have a pic of them on your car?

Nope. Well, Let me look. I like them, but they may not be as SMOOTH as some of the porsche wheels. Plus it was the 86, so I had brake envy, - big spoke windows to see the little itty brakes. And I can't take some now, because - well, actually, they are on the 78 right now. Maybe I could roll it out this weekend and take some pics.

9" x20. 60mm offset. This could be all around.

Of course we are down to the 550s for knock off turbo twists.

I wonder how heavy though?
