Who's track 928 @ '06 Portland Parade? You're in Excellence...
In the December issue of Excellence (yes, the one with the 928 market review where Bruce pretends to have asked OUR opinion, ha ha ha)...
Page 113 of the glowing reviews of the picturesque Porsche Parade of Portland shows a little inset shot of a mean-looking 928 at speed on the autocross course. In lieu of a scanner, just close your eyes and picture:
Bright red OB, non-S
Added black S4 wing
Added black S chin spoiler
Riveted on black 928 Motorsports fender flares
Large aftermarket wheels, blurred with speed
A bit of roll cage visible
#679 event decal.
The car looks very mean with it's black trim and big wheels, it appears to be trail braking into a turn.
The caption covered two photos, the other one being a race-prepped 914, and merely stated that "everything from 914s to 928s mixed it up on the autocross". It didn't even tell me which car was which.
I searched the few posts on this event, and only found Heinrich's photos of himself in a Cayman S and his car parked next to Ron H's.
Anybody?
