7 months! That's a lot of anticipation. Glad it was worth it.
I'd been waiting to get behind the wheel of an '85 928 5 speed since, oh, when I fell in love with the car in '85 as a teenager. When I got it home I had to start driving it right away.
It was worth every minute of it.

Thanks for all the well wishes and congrats. I still have a ways to go to compare with most of the sharks I see pics of but those pics just keep the ambition level at it's max. Keep the ambition going for me.

I'll second the idea of a NY/ LongIsland drive. I am also on Long Island and love every chance I have to drive the 928. I have met several other longIsand 928 owners that are not on rennlist. ..they are missing alot with this great group of owners and events every year...anytime you feel like setting up a drive I'm in.

Wow! I am impressed again at shark owners. Just one thread and a Long Island drive is in the making.
I would love to join in but I really need to do my fuel lines (23 years on them) before I do any long drives. I don't want to add new pics to the horrible ones I have seen.
