FWIW, the moving chicane 'did' make for some additional fun to get around

I mean, once Bill hit it in Jorge's car, Greg and I jumped on the freight train and up went the adrenaline level . My wife had a major grin after the downshift at 5k and then following Jorge and Greg's exhaust Bbbwwwaaaa-p-Bbbwwwaaaa through WOT upshift.

...wonder what they were thinking as they started getting blitzed... (and the passenger was on the phone long before we ever got to them )

[btw, do pictures have to be on another server to post <link only> here?]

Weeeelllllll, if you count the flames coming out of the wastegate of Tarek's 930, you could say we had some pyrotechnics... not quite what you had in mind, I know

Nice to hear that Tarek is using all 450 rwhp when playing with sharks.

Only one turbo on that car, but it is big enough.

...hence the whistling alert that the fun was about to begin. The lagtime of the big turbo gave me a chance to get on it hard and not let him get too big a jump on us

Yeah, Bill kept right on Tarek's tail. At the stop, the first thing out of Tarek's mouth was a question to Bill: "That's not a stock motor in your car, is it?" He was a bit surprised when Bill said it was.

George's car is blazingly fast, but I had to get used to driving it as the suspension is WAY better than mine. I never pushed it that hard. At one point, George said, "You know, you can just go through the turns." Three years of ****-poor suspension in my car has made me gun-shy.

You're gonna just love your car once your suspension is sorted out Bill!

My wife mentioned this and Nicole and I briefly discussed as well - Aside from Jorge's car, I think nearly all were stock with fatter tires and yet the performance level was remarkably high and in such comfort. We were having quite a bit of fun in a chip-only 86.5 AT- Stock everything, including 225's on the flat disk wheels, from the tight twists to the open spots, quite amazing performance and composure (with my wife climbing about the seat trying to shoot pics and video as well !!). Didn't really sink in that following Terek's Turbo was Bill, Greg, Us, Nicole...and we WERE following.

Good stuff!!

Bill Ball - On the way home I told my wife, "After driving Jorge's car, I bet Bill's going to finish tuning his SC asap once the suspension is set, 'cause I know he had perma-grin."

How do I post a pic?

If you're a member, you can "instream" the images. If not you need to point
to them on another server.

And yes, suspension first, more power shortly there after...

It's just not happened yet. I can't believe I drove my dump-truck 928 at 170 after driving George's.
