While I'm looking at old SITM pictures: What J.P.s scene looked like before lunch (below.) That was a h3ll of a year. At one point, on the Blue Ridge the fog was so thick I could barely see the front of the hood. Managed to pull over at one of the 'ranger stations' (I think, couldn't really tell, but it was off the road) and it was eerie to hear 928s rumbling by at about 5 mph 10 feet away and not be able to see even a hint of them.
