This is the part I was going to ask Paul if he can make. A true leather accordion as a replacement of the rubber one as a separate piece instead of integrated into the shift handle. I have a Pearl White interior with a black shift handle. I like the handle black due to heavy traffic but would like a pearl white leather accordion. Looks like yours already detached from the rubber accordion. With Paul's skill, he probably can make a leather one without the rubber thing.

I think you would want the rubber under the leather it will help keep heat out of the shifter.
Mine has come loose on a few of the ribs I have not tried to reglue it
