Tony-
Your last pic shows the big retainer washer for the cargo cover receptacle. One of mine is missing in the GTS- Do you think I can get to it by removing the rearmost speaker and sticking my hand in there?

Rob,
I have the same question! I am missing one too and need to get it fixed so I can put my custom Paul Champagne luggage cover in!!! Hope we get an affirmative on this one!
Say hello to Monique and the Austin area GTS's!

I believe this (these) pics qualify as the least qualified pics to still be considered a new pic of a 928 to adhere to the rules of this thread. Witness Jordon Wolfson's art project: a snow-covered 1979 Porsche 928 (Nostalgia is Fear) at Western Bridge. I was unmoved by the project as well as the concept. Your NEA tax dollars at work?

Tony,
Select car, save selection (this is time consuming part).
Make new layer, do gradient fill for background to be blurred.
Make selection with gradient fill, subtract car from selection
Use Lens Blur, adjust to taste.
Repeat gradient selection and blur for foreground to be blurred.
Select few pixel border of car, gaussian blur to blend with blurred background.
This one of Jarrod's GT has foreground, background, and cars on either side blurred differently
And most important, always work on a copy of both file and layer.
Takes me about an hour. Would be happy to do a photo of anyone's car for $25. The more megapixels the better for printing results.

...in other words, there's no quick "isolate subject & blur background' command.
Time consuming. That's why this treatment is so unique looking. It's great if you want to emphasize movement (could've done a better job on the spokes, tho):
RKD, you've brought your pics to an art form, BTW. Nice work!
