I believe the 0.36 is a correct number for the pre-S4 body. The S4 is 0.34 with the cooling flaps closed. There was a thread I read recently about the Cd of the 928. IIRC the Cd of the 928 is better BACKWARDS than forwards. It's funny because the 928 looks like it's Cd would be amazing with it's "melted bar of soap" type shape. I guess it's just not that slippery due to the sheer frontal area.
EDIT: Here is a link to the thread about the 928 Cd.

Are these numbers correct.
I expected the drag coefficient to be a lot lower on the 928 than a 911 especially older ones like my turbo and 993. So iw ould also assume the GTS has a slightly higher coefficient with the wider rear flairs.
If this is correct at 0.36 Cd that would make it less streamline than my turbo at 0.35 or my C2 at 0.32 Cd. Which is not at all what I expected, especially since Holbert chose the 928 to test top speed over a 911 turbo. Newer 911's are much more streamline than the older 911's. i wonder where the Panamera comes in.

Anthony, WHERE is that blue 928????? SERIOUSLY! Blue82 has to few miles on it to drive and that is the OB clone of Blue82 (it is a competition package car) so that would be a GREAT alternative...I'd sell my '81 for that bad boy!
LOVE the HOOTERS girls btw. Was at one for lunch today...didn't have a 928 with me...next time!

James, liking the lady! Beautiful gal.
Here are some pics from the OCIC of what gives me some motivation to get my car finished and painted.
Who's car is this?

jpNcos will like this... Interestingly enough, we had the poster before we got either car, and we technically didnt even buy that, we inherited it from someone who also didnt have either car.
We know someone with an old corvette that body style and testarosa, we were just waiting to befriend a benz owner before we make a group photo

Kind of looks like the new Panamera wonder what the Cd is on that car.
I am sure some of you remember this scene of the SM being trashed. Quite the shame as these are hard to find today and what a fun car to drive when Citroen made the only air suspension and coupled with a Maserati engine the sound was intoxicating not to mention it moved.

Jim:
I guess I understand the distraction here, and why no one has commented, but I HAVE to say the Folger's muffler (turbo?? or whatever it is) has got to go. As our cars get older we have to make compromises, some things that do not show are OK, but that is not acceptable.

Um, Steve? Where is your new 928 related pic? The pic of that blond is not yours and she is getting older by the post. (Although from her appearance I would not kick her out of bed unless it was to join her on the floor.)
