We did not even get RAIN from Ike today! My yard REALLY needs it too...but it did give me some time to mow the yard and to clean up the Great White Shark. Here are some pics...

How'd you get the car on the uhaul front-ways? Did you take off the front spoiler?

I used a "come-along" pulley and winched it slowly onto the trailer using the tow hook you can see in the pic above. It came on fine, clearing the trailer by about an inch. I didn't have to remove the spoiler. I didn't drive it on because it was overdue for a T-belt job and I didn't want to take any chances. BTW, it was on smooth pavement and the trailer was angled uphill slightly, perhaps reducing the angle a bit.

Also, maybe U-Haul has a couple of trailer styles? Dunno. I've always wondered if one might jack the car up (one side at a time), let it down, and drive it on before the car "settled". I'm not sure how high the ride height is after jacking...probably not enough to make a difference.

Without a doubt, some of the 928s shown recently have been unbelievably beautiful and well groomed. Keep the pics coming. Maybe I'll get inspired some more.

I found this on eBay and thought the kit looked interesting. I'm not familiar with it; perhaps an old Koenig kit since there was more than 1 design they offered....I think. Anyway, cool kit that is different from what we may have seen before. The sound system, if you're into this level of customizaton, looks to be a nice fit as well.

Perhaps this car belongs to someone here?

H2's idea about jacking before loading on trailer might work. It should get you at least an inch; wonder at what rate it would settle?
