they are lots of fun (sidepipes)----

most people (who don't know 928) keep asking why it has a V8 in it. (they assume it's a SBC)

sounds pretty good too, if I could just figure out how to upload sound.......

probably have to get the 12 year old to do it for me.

(ask anybody who was at 3rd Coast---they can tell you show it sounded---)

I ressurected some old pics of 'Nilla.
This was the x-country trip driving back from the purchase of my first 928. The first is highway 80, Nevada. The second is highway 70, Moab, Colorado. Just after I took the 2nd pic is when I got clocked at 110mph.
'Nilla RIP.

taken today at 9:00pm, after a nice drive up to the top of the mountain. Picturesque to say the least.

Taken awhile ago on my way back from a job site. Now the real question is, is the car in this picture moving, and who was brave enough to take the pic if it was?

Default What 928 Body Kit Is This?

I've not seen this precise body kit before, especially the hood, headlight treatment, and spoiler. Also, the gizmo on the front of the top is new to me. Also, looks to be an add-on at the rear of the top. I think this car is for sale....in Spain.

Body kit above looks Gemballa including the slantnose-like headlights. The vent in the roof is probably driver cooling and the back of the roof is a Strosek/Jacquemond 3rd brakelight/spoiler.

Below... Exiting Summit Point Main turn 10. It looks like I need to install the low mileage swaybars.

Default Getting ready for winter sleep

Our vacation home has a lot of space..and no snow this week so a good opportunity to get ready for hibernation..

A good wash..take off all dirt and road salt...

Man it looks good washed...almost a shame not to drive it.

Spark plugs ok.

And in the garage...see you in three months!!

This looks to me to be a complete Strosek Version III kit from the mid 80's. There is a headlight delete, the NACA ducts are functional and open for the air intake hoses, the hump in the hood was to allow better cooling and accommodate super chargers, and the front fenders are slightly flared to match the back and allow for larger front tires.. The upper spoiler on the back was intended to bump the air so it would land correctly on the rear spoiler, Strosek did his testing for this at the BMW wind tunnel in Munich IIRC.

Default Photoshop photo requirements?

What do you do to make your 928 fotos so beautiful? Attached are 3 fotos. The first two are "rough" and the last one has been given an attactive background, making the car stand out. Are the first two fotos candidates for Photoshop treatment or should they be retaken? If so, how?

BTW, Chuck Z's car fotos don't count. They are so well done they'd look good no matter how you presented them. Sueden, your car is beautiful also. Great composition.

Maniacal note above: I got mixed up and thought I was in the OT section. Sorry.
