I'm in LAX right now.
What about Augtoberfest? I guess it won't work! Sorry, I'm dreaming. I'll bid for it, and unless my future employer schedules me for class, then I'll probably be there, since it works with my typical schedule.

You and Loralie can celebrate your wedding by driving... I'd be celebateting my divorce. I'll definately fly - most likely into Orange County (SNA). Round trip is only $300. I'd probably take Friday off and possible Monday too. Vegas would be an extra $100, but if that meant I could ride in with Tony... it's be worth it!

If a round trip is only $300 (out of Detroit I would assume) I may have to look into that.
2,200 miles @ 15mpg @ $.3.30 per gallon = $500 + munchies.

This is the central location for all things related to this Porsche Type 928 event, held the 3rd weekend in October each year in Southern California.
HOTEL INFORMATION NOW AVAILABLE
The hotel contract is in place with the Fullerton Marriott, which is conveniently located just one mile north of 928 International. All of the rooms have been recently renovated and the bar/restaurant area where we will be meeting for the Friday evening reception has also been remodeled into an Irish-style pub. We will have a reserved parking area with car washing supplies available when you arrive, so be sure to look for that.
Through October 6th, you can call and make your reservations for Friday and/or Saturday nights (10/20 and 10/21). Be sure to mention "Sharktoberfest" to obtain our special room rate of $104. Reserve early because after October 6th, rooms will only be available at the (much higher) going rate.
