This sounds like fun. I might fly in and hope someone needs a co-pilot for the fun run...

Flights from Indy to Oragne County are very reasonable. Do many people fly in?

Folks do fly in. Some even try to pass off Chevy Cavalier rental cars as contendesr on the fun runs...

Seriously-- Post your travel schedules. If you are arriving at SNA (Orange County John Wayne airport) you might find a lift with another visitor. Once you are at the hotel you won't need a rental car, there is sure to be an empty seat for the ride to 928 Int'l on Saturday morning.

It might be worth asking at the hotel if they have a shuttle to/from the airport. Worst case is a Supershuttle or similar van ride.

Did-- Saw you guys under the car on the lift. I ended up outside most of the mid-day, tracing cooling fan issues on Tony Garcia's car. So we didn't get a chance to rub elbows... Sorry!

Didn't make the fun run last year. We have some friends in Big Bear, and drive up the hard route every chance I get when we stay up there. Plus, mrs dr bob doesn't fully appreciate the twisties, so we would have been sweeping the rear, leading from the back, you get the picture.

And we won't be in town for this years event, thanks to some previous group activities planned for that weekend. So next year, it looks like...
