ok.. I'm only THINKING of selling it
I RARELY drive it, between work and the S4 I honestly don't have the time or energy to take this car apart to paint it so it's finished, I hate to see it sitting here not getting used
I could use some HONEST opinions on whether I'm nuts and what it's "value" may be
specs:
77 given by Ferry to CEO of VDO then to a US Colonel who brought it to the states and it's been in NC since
121k km, deemed accurate as I know every owner but 1 in it's history and the 1 I don't know let it sit for years in his side yard and it destroyed the interior (which I fixed)
5k & 2 yrs on tb/wp, FULL mechanical going thru including ALL of the fuel system, tranny rebuilt, full S package installed
no sunroof, NO AC (never had it and retrofitting would require removing the factory installed triple air horns!) runs like a scalded dog
federalization includes headlights, reflectors (no big holes in the fenders) and currently has a smog pump but is now exempt everywhere except Cali IIRC
needs: paint, or a good touch up, fix ebrake, couple odds-n-ends, and a REGULAR driver

Not sure the kind of money you'll get. I would think because its not original stuff (S Spoiler, Wheels,....) would make it worth less, right?

So, as a man's fancy passes from one object of desire (#34) to a new one (S4)...surely this is nothing new. Possibly start a harem like Roger and keep all of your girls with you? I mean cars.
Why not keep it? Things change and you may have more time in the future.

How much? I'm guessing $3k depending on the paint and interior quality - there
s a big difference in how it looks in person vs. pictures.
