Default Never before seen pictures of the Pearlglanz Green 1995 928 GTS (last US GTS)

Here are several never seen before pictures taken by Pete Martin (Stuttgart Motorwerks, Asheville, NC) back in 1996 while the car was at Champion Porsche in FL. I know the pictures are not great quality (scanned from prints) but with the lack of information about this cars and its whereabouts I think this is great stuff! The exterior looks lighter than I had previously thought. I would LOVE to have the opportunity to buy this car.

BTW, please do not bother asking Pete for any additional details about this car as I am posting everything he has. Like me, he doesn't know where the car is right now.

Driving to Lyon

My brother and I meeting Pearlglanz for the first time. Ten year search…

Our friend Regis Perrin…the French liaison and without whom this would never have been possible….

She’s unbelievably beautiful!

"I would LOVE to have the opportunity to buy this car."

Not if I see it first

$171,216.00

Is that the highest sticker price EVER for a 928?

Incredible piece of 928 history, thanks for posting!

WOW
I have waited for pics of the interior of this car as well, I remember when i first read about this car in 96. I love that leather dash and console, and, well everything. he switches are all the eggplant color and the seat switches are in that green. I remember when i read about it i painted my original Playstation the same color combination from seeing how those two colors looked together.

ATTN PAUL CHAMPAGNE:

If you can make my dash and center console look like that i'll be very happy. I think after seeing that i need to cover everthing in leather, forget doing just the pod.

Wow!! What's the last option, X38, special flared fenders? They look like normal GTS flares to me.

X38 means besided about 1" wider fenders made of steel it has 8" front wheels also. Rubber is still same standard 225/45-17. Friend has hard to find 993 Cup II 8x17 ET70 winter rear wheels at front in S4. They have so large ET that 4mm spacer is needed with 245 rubber. I'm not sure if X38 uses same wheels but it's very likely.

Isn't this car now in France?

I believe there were even more expensive Exclusive department cars made. Have heard rumours about gullwings etc.
