GT3s " far behind now" ??? you must have been running 2:20 for that to happen.

so,what kind of times did you click off? did you get the 2:30 you were shooting for?

great to hear about the dependability of the supercharger. got me thinking really hard!

The car ran a total of 24 sessions ( two drivers), this is almost 12 hours of driving. This is ~ 1200 miles at 5000rpm and above, the Murf SC kit ran without a problem The oil usage is normal, the engine used 3 to 4 quarts of oil for the three days week end, almost exactly like before the SC installation.
Now is just waiting for the next track week end........
We had a great time with great people from the 928GLOC and 928OC

Hi Jean-Louis

Your car looks great! Hope to make it back to RA (love that track). Maybe Mr. Kibort will want a rematch?

Mark I don't have time, my hot lap ran out of batterie, when you need it, does not work... about those GT3's the only thing I know, they were passing me before and this time I was passing them .
Joseph will be good to see you again at RA, will be nice also to have a rematch with a working car this time, but I don't think this will happen, not the same cars...............

...and this is with no special crank scrapers or windage trays installed, only the factory GTS windage baffle in the oil sump?

Did you use the '85-and-up oil filler assembly, or the 78-84 oil filler assembly?

Sorry I missed it. I was pulling my motor to change rings.

Carl I have just the GTS baffle and later oil filler, I kept the oil level sligtly below the half mark when the oil was fully warm (after one session). I can see the accusump working in turn one, carousel and sometimes under braking. I use Amsoil 20W50.

Carl I am at 5 to 6 psi of boost. And I will not go over that. I am where I wanted to be. After a few adjustments over the week end I should be now around 370 to 380 at the rear wheel. Another dyno day is coming soon..............

With using the later oil filler on the 16v motor, how are you plumbing your crankcase venting?

Carl, I drilled two holes at the base of the oil filler cap, two 3/4" rubber line are going from each of those hole to a tee located at the fuel distributor (top of the intake manifold) and a 3/4" line from the tee is coming back to the front of the engine into my catch can (in front of the radiator), my catch can oil return has a check valve going into the sump (check valve opens when the sump is under vaccum and closes under boost), my catch can outlet has a hose going into a 1 gallon oil can into the fender (safety to prevent oil going into the engine bay in case of over flooding.....did not happen)

Jean-Louis,

Thanks for the info. Its' interesting that how simmilar my venting is compared to yours. Except I made the mistake of running a third line from one of the exisiting vent lines located at a lower elevation. This must be the one that keeps filling the catch can. I saw the sump block off plate (its used in the 16Vs but not on the 32Vs) and was thining of installing a line with a check valve (just like your setup) to return the oil from the catch can.
It's nice to know that this will work! Thanx!

Ill have to find a way to get out there again, this time with the right tires and you with no overheating!!!! we both should be nearer the 2:30 range. But,with your extra hp, and track knowledge, you would have an advantage! Im game though. I think about RA all the time. Would love to try and get back again!

tell you what, you can run your 350-375 rwhp and come out to laguna and see how you do! Ill pay for your flight if you win!

all the other RA'ers, need to come out to california. I came out last time, now its your turn!

Hi Mark,

How about another match at RA this year?? Should I fly first class or charter a Jet?
